Refund policy
The open-source scanners are free, so this page is only about Foretop Hub subscriptions.
Fourteen days, no reason needed
If Foretop Hub is not what you expected, ask within 14 days of your first payment and it is refunded in full. You do not need to justify the request. This applies to a first subscription, not to each renewal — the free scanners exist so the product can be evaluated before any payment, and renewals are not a fresh decision made blind.
Renewals
Renewals are not refunded by default, because cancelling is self-service and takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for — there is no window in which you are locked into a period you did not want. If a renewal took you by surprise after a period of no use at all, ask; that is a judgement call, not a refusal.
How to ask
The service is provided by Nicolas Mitchell. Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record and processes the refund. Request it from the billing portal in your account settings, or ask us and we will start it. Refunds return to the original payment method; Paddle's timing applies, typically a few business days.
What happens to access
A refund of the full amount ends the subscription: your organisation returns to the free tier, with 3 repositories and a 30-day detail window. Being refunded and still charged would be the worse surprise, so the two go together. A partial refund does not change your plan — a corrected overcharge is not a request to leave. While a refund is still being decided nothing changes either; access ends only once it is approved. A confirmed chargeback also suspends access immediately, because the payment has been reversed by your bank rather than by agreement.
What happens to your data
Nothing is deleted because of a refund. Existing history and evidence stay visible and exportable at the free tier's 30-day detail window. Deletion is a separate, explicit request.
If something is broken
If the service did not work and that is our fault, the 14-day window is not the relevant limit — tell us and we will sort it out. Selling something that does not work and then pointing at a policy is not a business worth running.
